1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SBMarket website or mobile application (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

SBMarket is an online marketplace that connects buyers with sellers from the Somali Bantu community in the United States. The Platform allows Somali Bantu sellers to list and sell products and services, and buyers from any background to purchase those products and services.

By using the Platform, buyers agree to support and engage with Somali Bantu businesses and creators, contributing to the economic empowerment and cultural preservation of the community.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. SBMarket reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

4. Seller Eligibility

To sell products or services on the Platform, you must be a member of the Somali Bantu community or have a demonstrated connection to the community. You must be at least 18 years old. You must provide accurate and complete information about your business and the products or services you offer. SBMarket reserves the right to refuse service to any seller or to remove any listing that violates these Terms.

5. Product and Service Listings

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their listings. Listings must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. SBMarket reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate or offensive.

6. Transactions

All transactions are conducted between buyers and sellers. SBMarket is not a party to these transactions and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any product or service listed on the Platform. SBMarket facilitates payments through third-party payment processors. Buyers are responsible for paying for products or services, including any applicable taxes and fees.

7. Intellectual Property

SBMarket retains all rights to its intellectual property, including the Platform's design, logo, and content. Sellers retain ownership of their product or service listings, including descriptions, photos, and any other content they create.

8. Limitation of Liability

SBMarket is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Platform, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

10. Modifications to Terms

SBMarket reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified of any changes by email or through a notice on the Platform.

11. Termination

SBMarket may terminate your access to the Platform at any time for any reason.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania.
